Custom projects vary significantly in size, materials, and complexity, so every quote is tailored to the specific job. Rather than using inflated flat-rate pricing, we calculate our quotes based on the actual work required. This keeps pricing fair, transparent, and easy to understand.
Most custom fabrication projects start at approximately one hour of shop time, plus machine time and materials.

How Custom Projects Work
Or process in greater detail
-
Reach out — we'd love to hear from you.
Fill out the form below and tell us about your project. The more detail you share (goals, inspiration, sketches, files, dimensions, timeline, or budget), the better we can help. Our contact form connects directly to email, making it easy to send reference images, CAD files, mood boards, or rough concepts securely.
Here's what happens next:
We review your project within 1–2 business days and reply with initial thoughts and questions.
We collaborate to refine the scope and find the best solution for you.
We provide a clear quote with timeline, pricing, and deliverables.
If everything looks good, we collect a deposit and get started.
Our goal is to make the process simple, transparent, and exciting. Whether this is your first custom project or you’ve done many, we’ll guide you every step of the way.
Please note that every custom project is unique, so we can't provide an accurate quote until we've reviewed your design. Pricing depends on several factors, including the size of the project, material requirements, design complexity, and the total laser cutting time. We import your artwork into our design software, size everything correctly, and calculate the material usage and machine time before preparing your quote. This ensures our pricing is accurate and there are no surprises later.
Most designs don't take long to prepare. Simple projects—such as a single-layer sign, a design using one font, or a straightforward logo with three or four colors—can often be set up in around 30 minutes. More detailed or multi-layer designs naturally require additional time. As a general guideline, we recommend budgeting about one hour of design time for most custom projects.
If you already have print-ready artwork, vector files, or CAD drawings, let us know. Having production-ready files can significantly reduce design time and help move your project into production faster.
-
This is where the fun really happens. We'll work closely with you throughout the design process—sharing previews, making revisions, and fine-tuning every detail until everything looks just right.
You stay in control the entire time. We only move forward once you're completely happy with the final design.
Once you give us the green light, we'll finalize the project costs based on the approved design. At that point, we'll collect a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your place in our production schedule. Once your deposit has been received, we'll confirm your production timeline and provide you with an estimated completion or delivery date.
-
Once your design has been approved and your deposit has been received, your project enters our production queue. At this stage, materials are ordered or allocated, production time is scheduled, and we begin preparing your project for fabrication.
Here's what you can expect:
Material Preparation: We prepare and cut your acrylic and any other required materials to the correct sizes for production.
Laser Cutting & Fabrication: Your project is precision cut on our commercial CO₂ laser system before moving into any required assembly, engraving, or additional fabrication.
Assembly & Finishing: Components are assembled and finished as required. This may include polishing, sanding, painting, bonding, or other finishing processes depending on your project.
Quality Inspection: Every project is carefully inspected to ensure it meets our quality standards before it leaves the shop.
Most custom projects are completed within 4–6 weeks, although lead times can vary depending on project complexity, our current production schedule, and material availability. Once your order has been confirmed, we'll provide an estimated completion date and keep you informed throughout the production process.
Before your project is shipped or ready for pickup, we'll send you photos of the completed work (when applicable) and an invoice for the remaining 50% balance. Once the final payment has been received, your order will be carefully packaged and shipped, or made available for local pickup.
Now it's our turn to do the work. While your project is in production, changes may not be possible, as materials may already be cut and fabrication underway. Any requested changes or cancellations after production has started may result in additional charges.

Materials and Capabilities
Acrylic Supply
We stock thousands of pounds of premium cast acrylic in a wide variety of colors, finishes, and thicknesses. By sourcing directly from trusted manufacturers like JinBao and Astra Glass, we maintain consistent quality and inventory, allowing us to respond faster and keep your project moving. Whether you need a single sheet or materials for a large commercial fabrication project, we have the inventory and expertise to help you find the right acrylic for the job.
Laser Cutting and Engraving
We love putting our giant CO₂ laser to work. Its 4' × 8' bed allows us to process full sheets of acrylic, making it ideal for everything from oversized signage and displays to intricate engraved products and production runs. The larger work area gives us the flexibility to take on projects that many smaller shops simply can't, while delivering clean cuts, detailed engraving, and consistent quality.
Design and Fabrication
Every custom project starts somewhere
Whether you have a finished design or just a concept, we'll work with you to develop a solution and fabricate it with the same attention to detail we'd expect for our own projects. From prototypes to production runs, we're with you every step of the way.
